This is a new bead I made the other day – I had been working on the design with evil purple, and I really love it, but need to perfect it (the purple one!). I decided to make a sunny bead, and I really love how it turned out! It’s primitive on purpose – a heart if you couldn’t tell! The big holed bead on the bottom is one of the best I’ve done, I think, so it’s included. You can find it for auction on ebay, but if you want one, email me! I’m going to be making more in some other sunny colors! Click on it – you know you want to!

Recycled Wine Bottle Beads
Here are some new beads for you to look at! They were made from a Luna di Luna cobalt blue wine bottle! They are slightly graduated from 11mm to 13mm and would make a striking necklace! I just think these are so cool. They are not the easiest beads to make; I’m using a minor on what is basically pyrex-type glass. But I’m having fun figuring it out! You can see them on ebay. I hope to have some more soon. The art world is apparently going through a “slow down” just like our economy. Although I would have to call it a depression, personally – it’s depressing when what you do for a living isn’t really cutting it money-wise!

New Line and Some Eye Candy

New Beads on Etsy!
More eye candy on a stormy night!

I don’t know about you, but I love eye candy. I love to see what other jewelry artists and lampwork artists are doing – it makes me beady happy! I really enjoy what I do – good thing, since I’m not making a living from it! But to be happy on a daily basis creating things that people like to look at – that’s a nice job!
