7000 Bracelets of Hope Blog Hop

Lori Anderson, of Pretty Things, is hosting a blog hop today! It’s part of the 7000 Bracelets of Hope Campaign by The Global Genes Project. The bracelets are given to one of 7000 families having children with rare diseases to show them love and support. This is the bracelet I made! I have to say I’m pretty happy with it! I used my own lampwork beads, silver beads, quartz nugget beads, czech beads and freshwater pearls. This is an ocean-themed bracelet, and I used a little fishy charm on the toggle clasp. You can check out all the participants and what they made by visiting their blogs from the list below!

  1. Sue, this bracelet is fantastic! I love your adjustable toggle solution for the fit issue. But, even more your color scheme is so awesome!
This bracelet is sure to be appreciated by one special family.

  2. Pretty!! I hope you have a fantastic time in Bedford and get full use of the spa. Once you've been inspired down there, let me know what kind of glass beads you can come up with and maybe we can collaborate with something special for the shop out there. I have some friends back in town with some connections and I think it might be cool to come up with something specifically handmade that's inspired by the hotel. Think about it….

  3. I love your bracelet a lot. I love the chain you used for the clasp. I never think to use a toggle but maybe now I will. Thanks! #48
